Product support is an integral part of what Perkins does. In total, we support more than 4.5 million engine serial numbers – that’s almost a quarter of the 20 million engines we have produced since 1932. These are found all over the world and are supported by the Perkins parts and service operation. The unique serial number is your Perkins engine’s fingerprint. It tells us the year and country of manufacture, which parts are used on the engine, the configuration and initial application, and even who bought it.

When you need parts and service, our local dealership network has instant access to all this data to support your engine. That means A&S Ltd. – as a local dealer, can find the right product you need and offer the right advice every time.

As the sole distributor in Azerbaijan of Perkins engines, we have immediate access to the complete range of genuine Perkins parts, which can be packed and dispatched to you. Delivery of ordered parts – unless available in stock – is realised based on customer enquiry between 2 to 5 business days. Otherwise, it will be ordered from London office which usually takes up to 10 business days to transport to Baku.


Maintenance and Repair

Scheduled maintenance prolongs engine life!

A&S Ltd. offers a large number of maintenance products of Perkins to help keep your engine in top condition. These include filters, gaskets, water pumps, consumables, oil pumps and thermostats. Each one has been designed and built to meet the requirements of your engine. All maintenance products come with the Perkins 12 month warranty.

Regular maintenance is the best way of ensuring your engine lasts as long as possible. There are regular checks that you should carry out in line with the recommend schedules to do this. The regular checks that you need to carry out fall into daily and weekly categories, along with regular servicing and specified intervals. Remember, the daily checks are just as important as the regular servicing.

Daily checks:

  • Cooling system coolant level
  • Driven equipment
  • The engine air cleaner service
  • Engine air pre-cleaner, cleaning it if necessary
  • Engine oil level
  • Fuel system primary filter/water separator
  • V-belts
  • Walk-around inspection

Every 50 service hours or weekly checks include:

  • Fuel tank, water and sediment, draining if necessary

Major Service intervals are typically every 500 hours for minor services and in multiples of 500 hours for major services including; 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4,000 hours. Your Perkins distributor is your first point of call if you need to obtain a new service schedule or any other advice relating to maintenance issues.
